Title of Article: U.S. apologizes to Afghans
Summary:
Defense Secretary Robert Gates on Monday offered his personal apology to Afghanistan President Karzai for killings of nine Afghan boys last week in a NATO-led helicopter attack targeting insurgents, saying the incident "break our hearts".
My opinion:
In my opinion it is necessary to apologize to Afghan . The U.S. killed nine innocent boys. Although they said something, they still are kids. Life are valueable.

A college athlete was drown in Florida when she went to swimming with teammeates in a lake.
A college student just 22 years old, called Jasmine Crenshaw, her mother said that the team was staying at Summer Bay Resort in Clermont. Divers found Cewnshaw's body Sunday morning about 15 feet from shore. It was really a bad news for her mother and her team.
6. Opinion:
I don't think that school team should lead student to do something what is full of danger. Even school think that would be safe, but live such a fragile thing. We need to cherish our lives, and when we go out to do something, we need to make sure that thing doesn't danger for me to do.
Crenshaw had died, how young life she was. Life is equal to everyone, so we need to cherish our lives, and taking lifes seriously.

A time I was embarrassed
when I went high school in Vietnam. I began to pay attention a boy friend. I knew him from my friends birthday party. At the time, He was MC of the party and I was impressed by his comicality. I tried to make friend with him. I asked some friends to have information about him. I learned that his name was Hao, he had an older brother and sister, his mother was a classmate of my mom. Especially, he was going to the same school with me, but he studied in different class, and then, I was exciting to set up a plan, so that I would be able to see him everyday. I knew that he used to go across my house on the way to school because it was the only route to school. every morning I dressed up Ao Dai (this is a Vietnam traditional clothing) that schoolgirls must wear in school, then I stood next the door to wait for him to pass by. After that, I pretended that I was just ready to walk out of the house, so that I could see and follow him on the way to school even though we didn't talk each other. I believed one day he realized it was me until the day it was my turn to clean up the class room. I was hurrying to go to school early, and I accidentally stepped on my Ao Dai. I was fallen on the way. I was embarrassed and ashamed because I thought I gave him a bad impression. My face turned red like a clown. Hopefully, nobody saw me at that time.

5 Summary:
A teenage boy got sick after saw a photo, it was the Robert Morris University dance team's
photo. The dancers in the photo were wearing outfits, they had wild hair, dark eye makeup and
chef coats, looked like straitjackets. The boy's mother complained to the university president,
she said, the photo made people with mental illness and feel disturbed. Therefore, the dance
team had apologized for this hurt feelings, but they defended the costume as a legitimate artistic
choice.
6 My opinion:
Nowadays, more diverse arts have appeared, but I think not all arts are good for everyone.
Artistic creators should take into account the social impact and role of the arts. More people
want to enjoy arts, rather than being hurt.

when I was embarrassed
One day, in Turkey, I was in my work as a bellboy. I have to go to the room to picked up
suitcases. While I was walking to my target room, a house keeper said me that she need to bed
fixed. I said," maybe I can fix", " Ok , can you fix its leg? ", she said. I entered the room, and I
could managed to fix the broken leg of the bed. She was happy because she would not have to
wait technical service to get the bed fixed. Suddenly she said, " maybe one day we can go to bar
to gather" I didn't focus on what she said to me. I answered, " Bad looks good know" . I would
leave room soon because I had job to be done . After I returned the hotel, I thought what
she offered me. I should have excepted her offer. I was late. I wanted to have a shot. I went the
room she was cleaning, and I asked her ," We can go to bar." She said, " What do you mean? We are friend here. "
I left from the room . I was embarrassed.

A Embarrassing moment!!! :(
There have been a lot of embarrassing moments in my life, but one of them, I can remembered very well, was when I was in Highschool. Every monday in mexican schools usually all the students make honor to our flag. So some students are nominated to attend the flag ceremony, and I was one of that students. My teacher told me that I had to be the ceremonial talker, and I had should written a paper of what should I had to say. Even though I didnt want to do that, I didnt have choose. After the bad news for me I must started to work in it, and I spent my whole entired weekend doing my paper. I tested over and over what was going to say. then the monday came I was a little stressful because I had to talk in front of 500 students, but I was ready to talk. I had begging the ceremony and everything was good as I thought. I tried to dont be disturbe for anyone so I continued talking and talking and when I finished all the ceremony. My teacher told me that nobody was listing to me because I did not turn on the microphone. So the entaried school didnt hear anything that I was saying. That was a really embarrasing time for me.

Titule: Weekend full moon the bigest moon in about 20 years
page: 8
autor: none
date: 03. 17.2011
If the moon looks a little bit bigger and brighter this weekend, there's a reason for that. It is.
"The last full moon so big and close to Earth occurred in March of 1993," said Geoff Chester with the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington. "I'd say it's worth a look."
Full moons look different because of the elliptical shape of the moon's orbit. When it's at perigee, the moon is about 31,000 miles (50,000 km) closer to Earth than when it's at the farthest point of its orbit, also known as apogee.
Even though it may look close enough to touch, Saturday's full moon will still be at a healthy distance -- some 211,600 miles (356,577 km) away.
As rare as it is, it may be worth a look. Miss it and you'll have to wait until 2029 to see it again.
My opinion: Last night I saw the most beutiful biggest moon I have ever seen before . It was amazing!!

summary of article:
this article is compare between popcorn and pretzel.
popcorn-when we at the movie, most people eat popcorn. And popcorn is also versatile.
with truffle oil or bacon at a nice restaurant or lightly salted at a dive bar, it's the perfect snack.
pretzels-when we are at a bar, sometimes we don't want to commit to an appetizer but you need to fend off hugger. that's when we reach for the pretzels.
your opinion about this article
I think popcorn is better than pretzel. Because i like popcorn. in korea, popcorn is very good snack. when I went to bar in korea, most bar gave popcorn. it is very simple. but pretzels is not.
in korea, we can't get pretzels easily. actually, i did't eat pretzels in korea and in USA too.

The most Embarrass moment...
The most embarrass moment in my life was the first time meeting my girlfriend’s parents. That was her junior year of high school she had promised me two years ago that she would bring me home to meet her parents. Seen the day she had promise me I was extremely excited waiting for the day to approach. January 19th, 2011 the day of her birthday she had brought me home to meet her parents. This year was our second year together, this day I had been waiting for two years that’s final here.
I was very excited but also very nervous at the same time. I call Stephanie (girlfriend) early in the morning want to be the first person to tell her happy birthday. I told her that does she still remember what she had promised me two years ago on the same day. With us going through all kinds of attempted situations that we can finally be together. Share our love with our family, want them to approve us and bless us with wishes.
Stephanie told me that dinner with be at Ming Hin at 7pm, reminded me not to be late and be sure to dress nicely. I arrive right on time and take a deep breath before I enter. Stephanie holds my hand as I squeezed so hard to show how nervous I was. I can feel the sweats that are dripping down my forehead. She introduced me to her parents as I take a sit next to her. Her parents asked me a lot of question like what’s my farer plan and things like that. That wasn’t as bad as I think it would be.
When I answer the first question I felt very embarrass because the question was would I be responsible for what I had done. I answer the question slowly and carefully as I can so I wouldn’t mess it up. My face was very red and there are a lot of things swimming on top of my head. I told them that I would be responsible and I would do what I suppose to do. They told me to take good care of Stephanie seen she was the only child in her family. I make an agreement with her parents. So the first time meeting her parents was embarrass but as not too bad at least.

what is tip?(writing jaurnal-a time you were embarrassed)
I'm from Korea. In korea, when we buy somethong, everything is include tax and we don't pay tip. but America is not. in USA, we should pay original price plus tax and when we sould to restuarant, we sould pay tip too. i going to tell about tax and tip.
I lived in korea for 21years. so I adapted about korea pay system. But 2 years ago, I came to USA. when I came to USA, everything is strange to me. However, one day, after I came to USA, I went to restuarant with my brother. But when we went to reatuarant, we had some problems.
after we ate our food, we got a check. and then i saw check our bill. However when I get our bill, I thought this bill is not ours. Because this bill is more expensive than we thought. so I said "this is not mine. I think you gave me other bill. can you check it?". however waiter said " surely, it is yours.". so i saw my bill againg. when I saw bill, i really embarrassed. buecause tax is not include.
So after we tald we are really sorry and then we paid about our bill. But we got other problem. After finished every paid, when we going to go out, waiter came to us and then he said "you didn't paid tip.". when we heared it. we really embarrassed and we thought "what is tip?"
Because we didn't know tip, I ask about tip to waiter. He said we have to pay tip 10~25% of origin price. finally, we paid tip. when we came back home, we searched about tip.
now we knew it. but when my brother and i came to USA first time, we didn't know about USA. When we went to reatuarant first time, we really embarrassed about tax and tip. I think it is our fault. Before we came to USA, we need study about USA. But we didn't. Whenever I think about that time, I still embarrassed.

When I were embarrassed

Most people usually get easily embarrassed about multiple situations in their lives. In my case, it was hard to remember the last time I got embarrassed; maybe because when I was a teenager I usually got embarrassed about everything. I was a shy teenager and my self-esteem was low. However, when I grew up and got a job working for the police department, I became mentally strong and my self-esteem grew. Because of that, I learned to pay attention to my actions and was less distracted. As I got older, I encountered less embarrassing situations, but I have to admit that now that I live in Chicago I'm still experiencing embarrassment. Being an English language learner, I have experienced a few moments of embarrassment because I mispronounce words and make mistakes with verb agreement in my sentences. For me learning a new language is a tool to survive and learn way how to express myself without an embarrassed moment and that’s why I’ll keep learning the language of English.
