Reading Journal 2 (Yeaji, Kang)

*Page number: 9
*Date published: Jan. 31. 2011
*Author's name: William Deshazer
*Title of the article: NOT SO FAST (cta: no official plan to shutter'L'stations)

*A summary of the article: You can calm down, all you Red and Purple Line riders who reached for the grab bars last week when word spread that the CTA will close five rail station. Transit official took many of the more than 1,000 suggestion received at public meetings that started in 2009-without endorsing any-and inserted them into different scenarios to give riders additional chances to chime in during scoping meetings held last week and attended by a total of about 425 people, according to the CTA.

*Reflection about the article : Five rail station will close. Belmont north through Evanston and to Linden in Wilmette. The subway does not stop at the station. The subway station is a place where people are busy as a beehive. However, if CTA close five rail it will be making some problem like traffic congestion. If you take Red Line or Purple you will find at CTA site about which station accurate will be closing.
